This friendly, community-rooted practice is looking for a dentist to join their team. Ideally, you’ve got a couple of years’ experience, but a confident, motivated new grad with the right attitude, energy, and curiosity will be considered.
The Role & Clinical Duties
This is a comprehensive General Practice role, focused on providing high-quality dental care to a loyal local patient base. You will get to work your cases up properly with full clinical freedom. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Comprehensive Diagnostics: Conducting thorough oral examinations, treatment planning, and interpreting digital X-rays.
- Restorative Dentistry: Providing routine care including composite restorations, root canal treatments, and crown and bridge work.
- Prosthodontics & Oral Surgery: Managing basic extractions, surgical extractions, and the fitting and maintenance of partial and full dentures.
- Preventative Care: Providing community-focused care for local families,
- Emergency Treatment: Handling acute dental pain, trauma, and abscess presentations for the local community.
The important part? You’re never thrown in the deep end; there’s always backup and support,
Work-Life Balance
The structure is genuinely flexible. The role can be full-time or part-time, and they’re open to splitting it between two part-time dentists if that works better for the right people. Any weekend emergency work is followed by two full days off—not token rest days, but proper time to reset and breathe.
