The clinic is well set up, modern and fully digital, featuring digital intraoral and OPG X-ray, rotary endodontics, a premium dental chair suite, intraoral cameras, and a full in-house sterilization setup. You’ll be supported by great dental assistants, excellent oral health therapists, and a practice manager who keeps everything in order.
The Role
- 40 hrs per week (with some flexibility on hours )
- $160k – $220+ super. 4 weeks hols – prorated.
- 50% of professional fees after hours
- 2–3 dentists on weekdays — you’re not alone
Clinical Exposure & Development
- Comprehensive General Practice: Full scope of first-opinion dentistry, from routine check-ups, scale and cleans, and composite restorations to complex extractions and crowns.
- Advanced Restorative & Prosthodontics: Regular exposure to crown and bridge work, veneers, and full or partial denture frameworks.
- Endodontics & Oral Surgery: Opportunity to manage complex root canal therapies and surgical extractions
- Emergency Dental Management: Hands-on management of acute dental trauma, severe abscesses, and pain relief presentation.
- Pediatric & Preventative Care: Providing community-focused care for local families, managing children’s dental development and fissure sealants.

Hervey Bay is the kind of place people move to and never leave. Beaches, K’gari on your doorstep, and weekends built around boating, fishing, crabbing, bush walking and camping. Warm weather almost year-round with winters that barely dip into the low teens. Great sporting clubs, good schools, parks and everything you need day-to-day, without the traffic or the city noise.
Bundaberg is 1.5 hours away, the Sunshine Coast a couple of hours south, and Brisbane 3.5 hours when you need a proper city fix. There’s even a local airport to make the getaways easy. It’s big enough to keep life interesting. Relaxed enough to actually enjoy it.
